Welcome to our site. We've had a great summer so far and have really enjoyed the beautiful weather lately. It has been so nice to sleep with the windows open and enjoy all of the outdoor sounds.
So what have we done so far this summer?
1) The kids have had a blast catching fireflies
2) Lots of swimming
3) Hanging out with friends
4) Ladies Friday night golf outings - hip hip hooray no kids
5) Camping at Indiana Beach
6) Vacation Bible School
7) Madison played softball
8) Spencer played T-Ball
9) Both Madison and Spencer are now taking tumbling
10) Ray just returned from Sitka, Alaska
11) Our friends Luke & Kara came to visit
12) Sleeping in (I'm going to miss that when school starts again)
13) Spencer turned 5 on July 17th - Happy Birthday Spencer!
Thanks Tammy for encouraging me to venture out and start our family blog. It should be a great way to stay in touch with our family and friends. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures we have taken this summer. Please leave me a message to let me know you visited our site.

You really can fish or at least pose with someone who can! I know that you really enjoyed that trip, what beautiful scenery.
Carol, as usual you are doing a stellar job of getting it all together for your beautiful family. I can't beleive how the kids have grown! Love and miss you guys!

Awww...the kids are growing up soooo fast!!~it makes me feel old!~lol~and Ray, Richard is going to be sooo jealous when he see's the fish you caught!~Wow! Well, I'm soo excited to see all you guys in November!~and I hope I can come up soon and visit in Indiana :)

Wow! I'm impressed! You are so computer literate; you're my idol. Who knew Ray was such the avid fisherman! We're doing great and had a very busy summer as well. Michael is also alive and well sweltering in the heat of Iraq. We get to talk to him about twice a week or so. His email is Michael.Balke@us.army.mil and I know he would love to hear from you. Later.

GREAT PICTURES CAROL!!! I see a lot of change in Madison and Jack's looks. We're glad y'all are enjoying Indiana, except we are jealous that you're getting to sleep with the windows open!
